Filter History
The thing that sets the FP-5 filter apart from other filters is it’s thread style, which can fit STANAG 4155 and GOST thread 40mm mask. Poland developed this special threaded filter due to the large amount of Cold War surplus masks that Poland had. Poland decided to make a thread that fit both GOST and NATO filter threads. The filter is used in the MP-5 Polish mask and various Warsaw Pact and GOST thread masks.
