Welcome to The Gas Mask and Respirator Wiki!

The gas mask is a device used in situations where airborne pollutants and toxic gases are suspended in free air. The gas mask's purpose is to prevent the user from inhaling said pollutants. This wiki is a collection of volunteers with the intent of creating the largest database of Gas Masks and Respirators on the internet. The purpose of this Wiki is to compile information of gas masks into a single place and make one large database for current and future collectors. This wiki is free for anyone to edit and make amendments to. Questions are welcome, our users will do the best they can to help.

    Yup, Besides the weird snout valve, that micky is the only mask I find unsetteling. (And the wierd casualty masks from Soviet Russia and Poland)

    That is the russian Zelinsky Kummant, I think the world's first rubber gas mask.
